Information we collect
We collect data you provide in the poll creation form or poll response form, including data about your schedule. We also collect your time zone when you submit the poll creation form.
We collect the standard data provided by your browser in our access logs. This generally includes your IP address, what pages you visit when, information about your web browser, information about certain browser settings such as preferred languages, and other details.
Use of information
We use the data you provide in forms and your time zone to provide our polling service and present poll results. We may also process such data to produce statistics on site usage for internal use. For example, we track how many polls are created each day, how many days were included in polls created on a given day, and how many responses the polls deleted on a given day had. We keep this statistics data indefinitely.
We keep daily backups of all current poll and response data so that we can restore the polling service in the case of technical issues. We keep these backups for fourteen days.
We may use the data in our access logs that was provided by your browser to compile usage statistics, to investigate technical problems, or for other purposes related to running this site.
Disclosure of information to third parties
The web host we use processes the information we store and serve, including the standard data provided by your web browser. It may make copies of data for backups and other reasons related to hosting this site. It may also share data with other third parties for processing.
Similarly, the service we use to store backups processes the information we back up for purposes related to storing backups, and may share it with other third parties for processing.
Data retention
We automatically delete each poll and its responses from our current data roughly 30 days after the last day included in the poll. Poll data will usually remain in our backups for up to fourteen days after that.
We currently do not provide any way for you to edit or delete data after you have sent it to us. We will likely add accounts or something before we're out of beta, but we haven't implemented that yet.
